I SAWW JOANNA NEWSOM LAST NIGHTT!!!!! god it was AWESOME!!! dsl;fl. well here was my day!!!: got on a 12:03 train to the city, went downtown for my interview at eugene lang which i absolutely loved and i hope i go there :))), got some cupcake at magnolia and it was sooooo good, met up with brian salvatore, we went back to penn station to meet up with jt and somehow ran into brendan delehanty (LIKE WTF LOL), then ate at juniors lolololl got some cheesecake, err..what else.. well i think then we parted ways with brian, and went down to brooklyn. we found the theater, and we had kickass seats, like the third row of the mezzanine she played all of Ys with an orchestra, it was incredible. i got a lump in my throat during emily, seriously. and she did some amazing reworkings of old songs with her band plus some new really good stuff. then came out for one little encore song, which was some song with kevin barker playing the banjo anyway here is her set list: Setlist # 1 w/ The Brookly Philharmonic Emily - best one of the night, honestly! i got tickets to go see joanna newsom on february 1st at the brooklyn academy of music!!! row c of the mezzanine. me, jt and doodle are going in and we might just stay overnight! god im so excited! shes playing with a full orchestra...all of Ys and probably tons of her other stuff. im soooo excited!! otherwise, nothing much is new. working, school. trying to get my other apps done and my damn play, which is confusing and angering me to no end but it will get done, i swear. its not my best work, not my favorite, but i think we all have pieces like that. ive been so busy in my life lately that i have no time to write what i truly want to. but this is still a play that i'm seeing as being very good. i added up all my movie tickets from last year and i spent around $210 on movies!! in the theater. i cleaned my stubs out of my cup holder and im starting a new. hahah. | |

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! i love you all!!! howd you all make out? i can honestly say this has been the best christmas!! heres what i got this morning: -$50 to Funk & Standard -$25 to Barnes & Noble -$25 to H&M (from kathleen!!! plus stuff from bath and body works!) -three shirts that i ADOREEEEE from threadless!!! -superbad on dvd -simpsons season 6 -$100 -$150 from Grandpa! -a feather pen and ink from Fitz LOL :D plus all the lovely gifts from andy and doodle and jt :) and the Cripple Crow by Devendra Banhart from Judy who was my secret santa at work. my family loved their gifts. my sister loved her dress from anthropologie and dad loved his dvd and his book and mom loved all her stuff!! im just so happy :) but now heres my big news, are you ready? mom wanted to surprise me in june at my graduation dinner but decided to tell me last night. shes been looking at sites and deals to plan a trip to Iceland for the summer, to celebrate. a TRIP TO ICELAND!!! HOLY GOD :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can you believe it?!?!?!? im still in shock. still unable to wrap my head around it. i am fucking stunned. im so overwhelmed and excited and...wow. i just am so shocked. and i love my family. i love my friends. i love this year. and i love all of you. im so happy | |

yes so yesterday was an amazing day because 1. i had off from work (and dont go back until wednesday) 2. andy got my package and i got his 3. i got to give doodle and jt their gifts i spent my day by baking gingerbead cookies!! specifically, with my spider shaped cookie cutters, lol. then i went shopping with mom, which is when i got a text from andy saying he got my package!! when i got home, the post man came by just to give me his package, which i appreciated. it was such an awesome package, seriously! he got me the perry bible fellowship comics!!!!!!! and the new devendra banhart cd!!! and these delcious chocolates and we (my family) practically ate the santa but i dont want to eat the deer because its so pretty :( but most of all my favorite thing was the note! i love getting the once a year (well twice) note...this one just especially was nice. thank you, andy :) later jt and tara came over and they ate dinner with me and my family. ate lots of cookies and i made my hot chocolate! then we opened christmas gifts together. i have to say that they were the most amazing gifts of all time. we didnt give each other lists...we just bought whatever, and they were the best gifts ive ever received from doodle, i got: a lovely black scarf from heritage 1981, and SKLGKL THESE LIKE...amazing prints, of these paintings of harold and of maude. i cant explain it - they were just on glossed paper, and were prints, one of maude and one of harold, both smiling. it was just awesome as all hell. from jt i got an incredible and love filled mix cd, the letting go and i see a darkness on cd because i have not owned them physically, new harold and maude dvd, a book about messed up celebrations. these gifts were awesome. awesome, awesome, awesome. not to mention its cool to think that tara got me the letting go on LP and jt got me the cd. but i love them, i love knowing that they care for me as i care for them..and that, im just comfortable. i want to wish everybody an incredible holiday and christmas because i love you all and im happy. i hope you're all as happy and fortunate and warm and get to eat lots of good food and watch a christmas story and be happy and celebrate. i love you. i truly do | |

good times, lately! i guess i should start by sharing the newspaper article i was in or whatever http://www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/articl of course they spelled by name wrong. and the article really didnt talk much about my writing at all but its ok, im glad to have even had the honor. :) anyway lately has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me. the week of thanksgiving i worked 30 hours and following it i worked six days in a row. by the time i got to my three days off for the play i was just mentally unable to do anything.. i felt really lonely and isolated and absolutely not happy. especially because i was pissed off at the shittyness of the play. every time i got a chance to leave, i did. and it was wonderful. on the matinee i went to fitz house and we hung out. he had the genius idea of riding a damn scooter down beacon hill which i tried and ended up crashing. lol. and it was very painful. later on that night me him and jt went back, and it was the first time i had saw jt in like two weeks. i felt like not seeing him or tara was like not being home, and so i just hugged him for a long time. and that kind of made up for the missing. the next day we went out to breakfast and visited tara who almost ran over my foot with her car LOL then tara came over and we hung out but then jt had to go to work, so tara and i went to the freehold mall. then she ate over and i had to go back for the play so i did it, and we left halfway through because it sucked so hard. we went to dominoes in red bank and delivered pizzas with salty instead, lol and i bought some great gifts for people! it was wonderful. of course ive spent a shitload on them which is insane, i spent like most of my last paycheck already but im glad and its working out for the best. i even tried shopping at an anthropologie which was a little hard, hahah but i adore that store despite its impossible prices yesterday i had off too :) i made my own hot chocolate!!! whipped cream and everything. it was so good kldlk;f and i hung out w/ jt like the WHOLE DAY. lets see we went to the mall, to the grove (where i got to make fun of fitz for working at the gap), taras house<33 and then back to red bank. we ate at some mexican place and bought candy and saw margot at the wedding, which was alright. but it was a good day and i dont mind working anymore. in fact it feels normal now. my only problem is balancing it with my other obligations. i have to finish my play!!!!!!!!!! and other essays for school. and im waiting to hear back from NYU... i should know this month. so im shaking deep, deep down inside. but theres confidence there, too | |

thanksgiving was good! how was everybody elses? i think i just love the day but i seriously ate so much food. two days afterwards and i still am unable to eat. lol. anyway lately has been odd. like...ive been very blank - all work, all school..no time to myself. ive worked a LOT this week. like 30 hours. i know thats good money but i cant stand how much i work there. its like i cant get much else done! next week is great though!! no work thursday, friday, or saturday. saturday me and my doodle are supposed to go christmas shopping at the freehold mall. i feel so great that ive made like a crapload of money. im totally going to buy the best gifts for everybody. so im excited to work half of next week and have the other half without worry i think - otherwise - that ive been so happy lately. im happy when im with doo or jt. im happy when im doing little adventures with fitz. im happy when i get some coffee. im happy when i watch a good movie. im happy when i listen to joanna newsom, or bonnie prince billy. im happy when im laying in my bed and i feel very warm and im happy when i drive my own car and when i use my own debit card and how i can buy gas without having to count all the money i have. i just need to finish my next play...and get some letter from NYU/Tisch :> and i cant stop listening to this song ( i won't take any other call ) | |

yesterday was awesomely fun!!! me tara and jt went into the city together <3 ron drove us to hoboken, we took the path train in. even tho we kinda hopped on the wrong train, we eventually got where we needed to be, lol. we went to the museum of modern art. we spent a long time there, just starring at lovely pictures and paintings. my favorite was matisse's la danse...i dont know why but it just really jumped out at me and i couldnt stop starring at it. also, this painting by klimt i didnt know the name of but i just really like klimt a lot then we went to columbus circle and saw the writers picketing lol. then went into whole foods which was fucking insane and i felt bad for everybody working there then we shopped a lot. i bought some pants at forever 21 and the new sigur ros cd and brian came and we saw him and hung out with him :)) it was wonderful then we went out to eat at this cute little french place. and i was just happy to be with jt and tara. i know we didnt get to see the colbert report, but i still had fun with them. i had so much fun <33 i love them | |

i finally got to see the friggin darjeeling limited! FINALLYY!! i waited so i could see it with both Tara and JT - it was a fantastic movie, and probably better than i thought it'd be. a lot of people are criticizing it a little harshly, because honestly i find it to be better than the life aquatic and a little better than tenenbaums. i think it doesnt replace rushmore in my heart but my god it was good. a lot deeper, subtler than his other stuff..and less showy, i think. plus i felt for the brothers so much i really did and god i just loved the movie. now we want to go to indian ourselves on some spiritual journey! :O anywayy!! GUESS WHAT?!? i sent my Tisch application!! YUP ITS GONE! after a month and a half of working so very hard - its GONE and im PROUD of it!! ridiculously proud. i got a haircut, one that i really love. and im definitely going to keep it. it looks good with this dress i bought that i also really love! and halloween is soon - im EXCITEDD! i bought my costume stuff... im going to be a mouse! usually i try to be something a little different but this year im like "i wanna be something cool/cute!" so, yah. there ya go. i got the ears, the teeth, the nose/whiskers, etc. and i cant wait for some CANDYY! hell yah. im feeling great today! | |

i think every fall we look for a song to match the weather.. i think i found that song. my god it is beautiful.. anyway!! doing good. sending my application to tisch on THURSDAY! 25 page writing portfolio. finished my essay. when its gone, im gonna celebrateeee. then work on MORE applications! aye. today was the first day in a long time that i didnt work or have school. it was amazing! i walked around atlantic highlands and took photos. then i went and got some tea. then saw tara on her break. it was a peaceful day and im glad i had this resting time. it was good... oh and i made a veggie burger!! i got it from whole foods. weee good times! mostly just working. but work has been awesome!! one of my bosses complimented me twice on saturday. really good compliments too, things that make me feel great. pay day = friday!! woo!!! im going to be breaking a thousand dollars when it happens. mr g is planning a trip to england so im trying to save up $1600 for it. like i said, i almost have 1000. like two more pays and i'll be good to go. then i'll be back to 0! LOL. but then by the time we go - march - i'll have way more than just $1600. im really excited about this - have this kind of money is exhilarating, to say the least. i barely spend it, too. the most ive spent on myself in the history of EVER was the other day, i spent $56 on myself at old navy! LOL mostly, i just buy...coffee. and movie tickets. and gas. but it all adds up! i barely have time to even think of buying myself a movie..or a cd... or most of all, some good books. at least, not for a while. and when christmas comes i can buy everything for everybody with a bit more leisure...so, im excited about that!! but yeah, my gosh. going to england, i want to go so bad. ever since he mentioned the idea its all i can think about it! nothing else new, really... slept over taras last night. had a great morning. work was :O dreadful but i lived. tomorrow? work on my portfolio, and hang with kathleen. and im most excited to go see the darjeeling ltd as soon as POSSIBLEEE | |

i called a woman "sir" at work. granted this probably happens to everyone at one point but i was so convinced i was right. first i was like "this is a woman" but then i heard her voice! and i was like "it HAS to be a guy"...so i called them "sir". they were like "No, 'sir'" all mockingly! OH MY GOD I WAS SO EMBARASSED LOL nothing much new either! slaving away over this early decision process...the application is due november 1st. i still have to finish the essay and finish up my portfolio. ughhh SOMEBODY make this easier. god, i want this so damn bad i cant possibly explain. i get visions of being there, you know? so im going to make it happen anyway speaking of the city, i am so pumped for november 8th! im taking off from work - no school - and going into the city with my dooty and JT! we're going to go to the museum of modern art, and walk around and go to this cool place for dinner and see the colbert report!!! and of course be together! gahhh :DDD it feels like fall now, finally! time to drink pumpkin flavored coffees, drive with the heat on, and wear scarves... despite how busy i am, i wont let all that pass me by | |
